Step 1: Open TikTok Promote
You can access the Promote tool in three ways.
How to access TikTok Promote via TikTok Studio (or Creator Tools):
- Go to your TikTok profile and tap the three dots menu on the top right corner of the page.
- Click on TikTok Studio (or Creator Tools if you’re using the outdated version).
- Scroll down until you see the More Tools section.
- Tap Promote (the option beside the flame icon).
How to access TikTok Promote via a chosen TikTok video:
- From the video, tap the three dots icon on the lower left.
- Tap Promote.
How to access TikTok Promote via the Business Suite on a Business Account:
- On your profile page, tap the three dots menu in the top right corner.

Step 2: Choose a goal
You’ll be given the option to choose a goal for promoting the video.
