Facebook users in the US (May 2022 – May 2023)

Throughout the last year, the number of Facebook users in the US decreased by 2 500 000, from 277 800 000 to 275 300 000.

• The majority of them were women – 54.6% (up from 54% in May 2022).
• People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group – 65 900 000 (down from 66 600 000 in May 2022).

Facebook users in the UK (May 2022 – May 2023)

As of May 2023, there are 56 111 000 Facebook users in the United Kingdom. This means that throughout the year the number of users decreased by 489 000.

• The majority of them were women – 53.8% (up from 53.5% in May 2022).
• People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group – 13 600 000 (down from 13 900 000 in May 2022).

Facebook users in Canada (May 2022 – May 2023)

There were 30 596 400 Facebook users in Canada in May 2023 – another decrease in the number of users compared to May 2022 stats (30 596 500).

• The majority of them were women – 53.7% (down from 54% in May 2022).
• People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group – 7 600 000 (up from 7 500 000 in May 2022).

Instagram users in the US (May 2022 – May 2023)

There were 176 300 000 Instagram users in United States of America in May 2023 – the numbers went up from May 2022 by 8 000 000.

• Currently, most of the American Instagram users are women – 56.1% (up from 55% in May 2022).
• The biggest user group are people aged 25 to 34 – 49 300 000 (up from 47 200 000 in May 2022).

Instagram users in the UK (May 2022 – May 2023)

Another increase in the number of users – 1 060 100 (from 34 620 400 up to 35 680 500).

• Women prevail again… Most of Instagram users in the UK are women – 55.3% – down from 55.4% back in May 2022
• People aged 25 to 34 remain the largest user group – 10 400 000 (up from 10 100 000 compared to May 2022).

Instagram users in Canada (May 2022 – May 2023)

Another increase – the number of Instagram users in Canada increased by 1 261 800 (from 18 252 800 to 19 514 600).

• Most of the users are women – 54.3% (down from 55.2% in May 2022).
• As of May 2021, the largest user group are people aged 25 to 34 – 5 900 000 (up from 5 400 000 in May 2022)
