Social Media Stats Nov 2018: Facebook and Instagram users in US and Canada

There were 204, 3 million Facebook users in the US in November 2018, which accounted for 62.1% of its entire population. The majority of them were women – 54.4% and people aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group (51 mln). 

As of November 2018 there were 22, 4 million Facebook users in Canada, which accounted for 60.3% of its population. A majority of them were women – 53.1%. People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group (5,5 mln).

There were 122, 6 million Instagram users in the US in November 2018, which accounted for 37.3% of its entire population.  Majority of them (55.9%) were women. People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group (40 mln).

In Canada there were 12,8 mln Instagram users as of November 2018. This accounted for 34.5% of its population. Majority of them were women – 55.6%. People aged 25 to 34 were the largest user group (4, 2 mln).
