Simp

“Simp” is a slang term that originally referred to someone who goes to great lengths to impress or win over someone they’re attracted to, often to an excessive extent. However, its meaning has evolved and it’s now used in a broader context.

Imagine someone is constantly doing favors for someone they’re interested in, even at the expense of their own well-being. You might say they’re “simping” for that person.
